Oh My Kwento!!!!

Avie @25,000km

Posted on: Hulyo 3, 2016

July 2, 2016– Gumora ang beauty ko sa Toyota Marilao for Avie’s 25,000km check-up. I arrived 1236PM, 6 minutes late for my appointment, pero inasikaso naman ako agad and was already talking to my “favorite” service advisor Arman ng mga bandang 12:45PM. Syempre inexplain sa akin ang mga gagawin kay Avie. Kailangan na daw linisin ang aircon and he was even suggesting na linisin na yung engine, when I asked magkano, aba eh P850.00 daw. Sabi ko sa 30,000km na lang kasi wala na talaga akong budget for that. Ang initial estimate ng gastos ay 8K.

I also asked him na gusto ko nang papalitan yung seat cover kasi madumi na and ipapalit yung binili kong seat cover sa kanila. May fee daw yun na P350.00 but I requested na sana libre na lang kasi sa kanila ko naman binili ang cover.

While waiting, I had two (2) cups of coffee and this time hindi na popcorn ang foodie, hotdog na! Bongga!

So there, after waiting for 4 and 1/2 hours, natapos din ang check-up. Akala ko naman okey na pero I’m in for more expenses pala kasi kailangan na daw palitan ang battery. Ipinakita sa akin ni Arman yung result ng battery reading and almost fading na nga. Ang mahal ng battery sa Toyota, P5,100.00. I told Arman na I will try to look sa labas kasi baka mas mura. He made it clear naman na hindi daw mavo-void ang warranty ko kahit sa labas ako bumili ng battery.

Heto ang mga ginawa sa aking one year and six months old Avie,

  • Aircare service (Aircon cleaning)
  • Inspected, cleaned and adjusted brake lining and drums
  • Tightened bolts and nuts on chassis and body
  • Replaced Engine Oil
  • Replaced Engine Oil Filter
  • Inspected Air Filter
  • Inspected brake pads and discs
  • Inspected steering wheel and linkage

Pinalitan din ang seat cover–free of charge!

Ang fee sa check-up at aircon cleaning…..Seven thousand five hundred fifty six and twenty one centavos! (P7,556.21).

I also bought a new battery, Motolite Gold. Ang original price ay P4,200.00 pero dahil kinuha nila ang old battery, less P200.00 and I paid P4,000.00 lang. Ang battery warranty ay for 21 months.

Heto pala yung battery na nakalagay when I bought the unit last December 2015. Tumagal lang nang one year and six months.

Ang next visit ay for the 30,000km na! Thank you LORD. Thank you Toyota Marilao!

Hi…good to know that your expenses for the 25k km check up was only 7k plus at Toyota Marilao. And its a good thing they advised you about your car battery. Mine was 12k plus at Toyota Pasong Tamo last june 4 of this year. They never mentioned about our car battery….so until lately…the unit doesnt want to start. My husband bought a Motolite Gold battery same as yours amounting to 4200 but since we traded the old one brand GS we got it for 4k…The old battery lasted for 1 year and 6 months…anyways hats off to Arman your service advisor…hope ganyan din sa Toyota Pasong Tamo…Thanks for sharing your story. and Keep safe always.

thanks also for sharing your experience…kwentuhan ulit tayo sa 30k km check up 🙂
