These foodies were once introduced sa Philippine food market and I consider myself lucky na na-experience ko sila bago na-tsugi at nag-disappear sa menu. I would like to remember them thru this post….my foodie remembrance….
Kenny Rogers Roasters Bacon Wrapped Chicken
Offered for a limited time sometime in the middle of 2013 up to January of 2014. Ang masarap na KRR chicken ay binalutan ng bacon at saka niluto sa rotisserie. Super excited ako to experience this foodie kasi adik ako sa bacon at chicken tapos biglang pinagsama…..naman! And hindi ako nadisappoint kasi super sarap siya. Perfect combination! Sana ibalik ito nang KRR sa kanilang menu.
KFC Double Decker
The burger for the Big Boys! Yan ang tagline when this burger was introduced by KFC in the last quarter of 2012. Ang burger contains two (2) big pieces of original chicken fillet na niluto with KFC’s secret herbs and spices, may cheese, bacon, lettuce and mayonnaise in a kaiser bun. Super sarap at super nakakabusog itesh.
McDonald’s McSpicy
Una kong natikman ang McSpicy sa Singapore and was happy na it was introduced sa Philippines in the middle of 2013. Ang McSpicy ay may spicy and juicy whole chicken meat, lettuce at masarap na dressing in a toasted sesame seed bun. Eighty pesos (P80) lang ang ala carte order nito. Mukhang hindi yata masyadong tinangkilik ng mga Pinoy ang sandwich kaya wala na ito sa menu ng McDonald’s Philippines. Haay…mukhang sa SG na lang ulit ako makakatikim ng McSpicy.
Max’s Corner Bakery Frosted Flavor Coffee
These frosted coffee drinks were introduced in the summer of 2009 ng Max’s Corner Bakery na matatagpuan sa halos lahat ng Max’s Restaurant. Tatlong flavors ang frosted coffee nila: frosted caramel, frosted cafe mocha at frosted choco chip crunch. Na-tsugi ito sa menu middle ng 2010.
KFC Arroz Caldo
KFC introduced this comfort food in the middle of 2009. Ito yung typical na rice porridge na may chicken. Of course special kasi KFC chicken ang kasama. Naging available siya sa mga selected KFC stores na nag-se-serve ng breakfast. Sayang wala na ito sa menu nila.
McDonald’s McRib Sandwich
Offered for a limited time, ang sandwich ay may dalawang variant: McRib at McRib Deluxe. Ang sandwich ay may rib-shaped pork patty dipped in a sweet, tangy and smoky barbecue sauce, pickle slices at onions inside a caramelized long bun. Sa totoo lang, masarap ito kaya lang naumay ako. Dahil siguro sa hindi ako mahilig sa matamis na pagkain kaya di ko masyadong na-feel ang sauce. At ang mahal niya ha, P99.00 ang ala carte at yung McRib Deluxe ay P119.00. Kaloka!

McDonald’s Fish and Fries
Offered nung Lenten Season/Holy Week of 2017 and na-tsugi din a month after.
We had a buffet galore sa branch na located sa 207 EDSA Greenhills Mandaluyong City. (Available din ang buffet sa Glorietta 3, West Avenue at SM Megamall branches)
Super daming choices ng American, Filipino at Japanese Dishes. Kung mahilig ka sa sushi, maloloka ka sa dami nang choices dito.
Open sila from 11am to 2:30pm (lunch buffet) at 6pm to 11pm (dinner buffet)
