The Peak, Hongkong/December 2017
…not just a special holiday
….so much more than buying and giving of gifts
…not an excuse to eat, eat, eat and eat
…not just for family reunions and bonding with friends
BUT rather
…it is a time to reflect on the goodness of God
…to thank HIM for giving us the greatest gift, His only son, Jesus Christ
…to be happy and be positive
…to re-dedicate our lives to HIM and for HIM
After all….JESUS is the REASON for the SEASON

We rode the iconic Peak Tram in going to Victoria Peak and the experience was oh so wonderful!
The Tram passes through four (4) stations along the way, Kennedy Road, MacDonnel Road, May Road and Barker Road. We rode at MacDonnel Road and we arrived at our destination in less than five (5) minutes.
The view from the Tram’s window was great (skycrapers, Hongkong’s harbour, beautiful buildings, trees, etc) but I was not able to take that much photo as the route was somewhat steep and I had to hold on to my seat.

Hongkong/December 2017
to some it was a mistake….a wrong decision…..a shocking choice
the society does not entirely accepts it
my being a lawyer and a “Christian” would be compromised
yes for a time I was happy
but I also know that it won’t last
I know this day will come
I just did not expect it to be this painful
oh but I’m a survivor
i’ll get through this
i just don’t know when
- jail visitation/gift-giving at PNP-CSJDM Detention Facility
- Kenny Roger’s lunch at the office (my treat!)
- reviewed our office’s accomplishment report for 2018 (reporting will be tomorrow before our Honorable City Mayor)
so many things to be thankful for….
i feel so blessed
thank you LORD!

This is where the Central Government Complex of Hongkong is located and can be found at the eastern section of Hongkong’s business district.
We passed by the area on our way to “The Peak” so we decided to explore it a little more. The buildings are oh so beautiful!
The signs at the Admiralty MTR Station
More photos….
The office of the Philippine Consulate is also located at the Admiralty area but we were not able to locate the building.
Hongkong/December 2017
It was love at first sight…..that very moment when I first saw you ….I just knew you were the one for me….and that I made the right decision to wait for you…
We’ve been through a lot ever since…we were always together…you were my trusted companion….my shock absorber…..my security blanket…the silent listener to my driving rants…the lone witness to my driving bloopers…..you are not just my “auto” but you are my baby
Happy four years Avianca Gray!
Cheers to more driving bonding moments together!
One more year and you will become mine completely!
Love you my Avie, one of my greatest blessings from above!
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” —–Philippians 4: 6-7
Tung Chung, meaning “eastern stream”, is an area on the northwestern coast of Lantau Island, Hong Kong. One of the most recent new towns, it was formerly a rural fishing village beside Tung Chung Bay, and along the delta and lower courses of Tung Chung River and Ma Wan Chung in the north-western coast of Lantau Island. The area was once an important defence stronghold against pirates and foreign military during the Ming and the Qing dynasties. (Source: Wikipedia)
