Lost another Aunt this month!!!!
The news came as a shock as in! All the while I thought she’s doing well. No one told us that she got so depressed after the recent death of her sister due to COVID-19.
When I saw the FB post of her daughter, I had to message one of her grandchildren to confirm the news. It was so painful. We are still grieving due to the death of Tita Cila and now we have to deal with another death. Worst, we are unable to give them the last respect that they deserve as they need to be buried immediately.
Ahh….2021… why do you have to be so cruel….
April 1, 2021: Tito Boy (Librado Germar Gatchalian), Dad’s first cousin. His mother, Lola Romana, is Ahmah’s sister.
April 3, 2021: Lola Lena (Elena De Jesus Joaquin), wife of Angkong’s first cousin, Lolo Pastor Joaquin
June 28, 2021: Tito Semie (Simon De Jesus Joaquin), son of Lola Lena and Lolo Pastor, Daddy’s cousin
Sept 2, 2021: Tita Cila (Lucila Joaquin Elpedes), Dad’s sister
October 8, 2021: Sangkong Anoy (Arnold Ramos Joaquin), a cousin
November 4, 2021: Tita Feliza (Feliza Joaquin Julian), Dad’s sister
And just now, while writing this post….I received a message that the husband of a cousin died today due to COVID-19….
Oh LORD have mercy….please give us strength and courage to face these challenges.
