Stay with me, Lord, for it is necessary to have you present so that I do not forget you. You know how easily I abandon you.
Stay with me, Lord, because I am weak, and I need your strength, so that I may not fall so often.
Stay with me, Lord, for you are my life, and without you, I am without fervor.
Stay with me, Lord, for you are my light, and without you, I am in darkness.
Stay with me, Lord, to show me your will.
Stay with me, Lord, so that I hear your voice and follow you.
Stay with me, Lord, for I desire to love you very much, and always be in your company.
Stay with me, Lord, if you wish me to be faithful to you.
Stay with me, Lord, for as poor as my soul is, I want it to be a place of consolation for you, a nest of love. Amen.
~St. Pio of Pietrelcina
Medyo malungkot ako kasi first Christmas namin ito without Mommy. But of course kahit ano pa ang sitwasyon we have to celebrate the birthday of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
We chose not to prepare yung usual na handa sa pasko (like spaghetti, cake, ice cream, etcetera) but instead nag-hot pot kami. We bought squid balls, lobster balls, kikiam, fish pudding, crab sticks, egg noodles, mushrooms, yellow corn, baby potatoes, bacon, hot pot sauce and lots of green leafy vegetables. I also bought my favorite Dae Jang Gum kimchi 🙂
Pero hindi pa rin nawala ang favorite na hotdog at ham….
On December 25, we spent Christmas with Daddy, Mommy, Gwamah and Gwakong sa memorial park
Habang lumulubog ang araw…i can’t help but cry and feel God’s embrace….
Kahit anumang panahon o okasyon….His love is present….
May lungkot man ang pasko sa aking puso….may reason pa rin para maging masaya…
Happy Birthday Jesus. I love you.
