So finally, I had my RT-PCR (swab) test yesterday at the Joni Villanueva Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory. The swabbing area is located at Guiguinto, Bulacan which can be conveniently accessed thru the Balagtas Bypass Road. Upon arrival I was briefly interviewed and was given a document to be filled up.
After paying Php3,500.00 I was asked to proceed to window number 3. A kind young lady administered the test. After getting specimens from my mouth and nostrils, I was told to just wait for the result in my email. The swab test was uncomfortable but not painful.
And today, just this afternoon, I got the result and I almost cried….
I am negative for COVID-19. SARS-Cov-2 is not detected! Hallelujah!
Thank you LORD for this blessing, for Your protection, for covering me with Your precious blood! I love you Jesus!
TUESDAY
At around 5:00 in the afternoon, I was chillin’ and had to cover myself with blanket and comforter. Took a cup of ginger brew and tried to sleep. After dinner my throat was aching and my temperature was 39.1. I panicked and almost called an ambulance. Uminom na lang ako nang paracetamol and prayed. I claimed that My GOD is bigger that whatever is this thing that’s making me sick. I fell asleep and woke up at around 10:00 in the evening. My shirt and pajamas were soiled with perspiration. My temp was down to 37.5. Thank GOD!
WEDNESDAY
Temperature was at 37.1, no more aching throat and I felt a lot better. Finished a big bowl of “sopas” and two (2) glasses of pineapple juice.
My doctor changed my antibiotic to co-amoxiclav (atadar) and she also sent me the request for x -ray (for my lungs).
I still need to undergo the swab test just to make sure that I don’t have COVID-19.
The test is so expensive, six thousand five hundred pesos (P6,500.00) grabe!!!!!
